Why does the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Energy Day even exist?
Energy Day is an initiative showcasing the various forms of sustainable energy production. This day demonstrates what has already been achieved through renewable energies and sustainable energy supply.
Energy Day provides clear information, advice, and demonstrations on the potential uses of renewable energies and solar building, the application of alternative vehicle propulsion systems, and energy conservation. It aims to promote acceptance and adoption of decentralized energy supply based on renewable energies, thereby supporting environmental and climate protection.
This year's action day is also scheduled to take place on the last Saturday in April, this time on April 25, 2026.
More than 40 events in various locations throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
More than 40 events on the topic of renewable energies are taking place throughout the state. These include tours, community festivals, and information sessions covering wind, solar, bioenergy, and geothermal energy. The events also focus on electromobility, hydrogen, energy efficiency, and the storage of renewable energies. In addition, a boat trip to an offshore wind farm has been offered every year so far.
The Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Energy Day presents interesting facts about renewable energies in an exciting, informative, and entertaining way. In recent years, numerous interesting projects have been developed in many communities and regions across the state, with committed companies establishing themselves and new fields of research being opened up. Many of these organizations open their doors and present their facilities, projects, initiatives, and ideas.
