What is MVeffizient about?
MVeffizient is an initiative by the State Energy and Climate Protection Agency of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) GmbH (LEKA MV) aimed at increasing energy efficiency in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is carried out on behalf of the Ministry for Climate Protection, Agriculture, Rural Areas, and the Environment (LM). The program primarily supports small and medium-sized enterprises in improving energy efficiency, reducing energy costs, and lowering CO₂ emissions.
With funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the initiative will continue until mid-2027.

What support does MVeffizient offer?
On average, companies can save 30% of their costs for heating, cooling, and electricity. To unlock this potential, the State Energy and Climate Protection Agency MV provides companies with valuable information on energy efficiency through MVeffizient. The initiative offers a wide range of services that create real added value for businesses.
- Individual energy efficiency consultations
- Free initial consultations on energy efficiency and renewable energies.
- Advice on reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions by up to 30%.
- MVeffizient networking events and training
- Regular networking events to facilitate exchanges between businesses and experts.
- Topics include funding opportunities, renewable energies, energy management, energy-efficient technologies, greenhouse gas accounting, and more.
- Specialized training seminars for energy consultants.
- Use of the CO₂ accounting tool “ecocockpit”
- Companies can calculate their CO₂ footprint for products and locations free of charge.
- Individual consultations on using ecocockpit are available.
- Public relations & best-practice examples
- The media library offers resources such as the "Checklist: 55 Efficiency Tips for Production and Administration", recordings, and presentation slides from various events like networking meetings and seminars, along with additional energy-saving tips for businesses.

Facts about MVeffizient
MVeffizient has already conducted over 500 consultations, shared knowledge through 96 networking events and online training sessions, and participated in 74 presentations and industry events with a total of 3,300 attendees.
