After the reunification, Holger Mücke and Michael Ginzel initially started in the insurance business before gradually transitioning into real estate in 1992. They founded a GbR (Gesellschaft bürgerlichen Rechts – Civil Law Partnership) and initially focused on property sales before expanding into property management. Today, they manage around 100 properties with 570 units—a well-established business now facing a crucial transition: the generational change in the real estate sector.

Mücke and Ginzel had run their company without employees and originally planned to retire in a few years. However, finding a suitable successor proved challenging.

Matthias Scholz, a trained banking specialist and IHK-certified real estate manager, had long dreamed of running his own business in the real estate sector—whether in property management, rental operations, or brokerage services.
Already in summer 2022, he contacted the Nachfolgezentrale MV and, after extensive searching, found the ideal opportunity. In 2024, he founded his property management company “IMMO.BEING” and later took over the Arsenal Property Management GmbH in Schwerin. With the acquisition of Mücke & Ginzel GbR, he continues his expansion—a significant generational transition in property management.

Mücke and Ginzel remain with the company as employees, ensuring that clients will experience no disruptions.

Over the coming years, he plans to expand property management services, invest in personnel development and establish a professional WEG management model.
