Under the theme "Industrial Transformation," Hannover Messe 2025 was a showcase of industrial transformation. With over 4,000 exhibitors from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, digital industry, and energy, the fair provided a platform for the latest technologies and innovations at the Hannover exhibition grounds. The atmosphere from March 31 to April 4 was vibrant and inspiring. Visitors could experience the future of industry up close.

Climate Neutrality: The Path to a Sustainable Future

A central theme of this year's fair was climate neutrality. Companies presented solutions on how electrification, digitalization, and automation can achieve a sustainable and efficient industry.

Particular focus was on renewable energies, green hydrogen, and technologies for optimizing energy consumption. The booths of Siemens, Bosch, ABB, Schneider Electric, and Microsoft attracted numerous visitors who were informed about the latest developments and engaged in exciting conversations.

Artificial Intelligence: The Revolution of Industry

Another highlight was the presentation of artificial intelligence (AI) in industry. From autonomous robots to generative AI – the fair demonstrated how these technologies are revolutionizing industry and setting new standards. Visitors could witness live how AI enhances efficiency and productivity across various sectors.

Innovations at Hannover Messe 2025

Among the standout innovations at Hannover Messe 2025 were:

  • Cognibot Kit by Delta: This add-on system equips collaborative robots of the D-Bot series with advanced cognitive capabilities such as voice control, 3D machine vision, and multimodal interaction with AI. These capabilities enable the robots to autonomously perform complex tasks and efficiently collaborate with humans. "With the Cognibot Kit, we can elevate human-machine collaboration to a new level," said a representative from Delta.
  • Emulate3D Factory Test by Rockwell: A tool for virtual factory-scale control testing that allows manufacturers to test and optimize their automation systems before installation. By simulating real production conditions, companies can identify and correct errors early, increasing the efficiency and reliability of the systems. "Emulate3D gives us the opportunity to perfect our systems before they are deployed in the real world," explained a spokesperson from Rockwell.
  • Nvidia Omniverse APIs: Enhanced visualization of the entire factory, enabling precise coordination and optimization of production processes. With these APIs, companies can monitor and adjust their production workflows in real-time to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. "The Omniverse APIs are groundbreaking for industrial production," said a representative from Nvidia.

Canada as Partner Country: "The future’s here"

Canada was the partner country of Hannover Messe 2025 and presented itself under the motto "The future’s here." More than 200 Canadian companies showcased their industrial strengths in areas such as automation, energy, digital transformation, and green technologies.

François-Philippe Champagne, Canada’s Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry, said: "Canada is proud to be the partner country of Hannover Messe 2025. This is an opportunity for Canadian companies to showcase their innovations and solutions for industrial transformation."

Global Diversity: International Exhibitors and Hall Stands

The Hannover Messe 2025 attracted exhibitors from all over the world. Companies from countries such as Germany, the USA, China, Japan, India, France, and many others showcased their innovations. The diversity of the countries of origin highlighted the global significance of the fair and offered visitors a wide range of technologies and solutions.

Networking and Enjoyment

In addition to the exhibitions and conferences, Hannover Messe 2025 also created numerous amenities to make the visit a pleasant experience. A free shuttle service on the fairgrounds ensured that visitors could conveniently travel between the various halls and event locations.

Scattered throughout the fairgrounds were numerous bistros, restaurants, and snack points offering a wide range of food and beverages. From quick snacks to gourmet meals – there was something for every taste. Visitors could relax in the cozy seating areas and recharge for their next visit.

Networking was another important aspect of the fair. Participants made valuable contacts in the networking areas and at the numerous events and meetups. They exchanged ideas about the latest developments and trends. The atmosphere was characterized by openness and curiosity. Many visitors took the opportunity to find new business partners and initiate collaborations.

Creativity and Innovation: The Startup Area

The Startup Area in Hall 2 was a hub for young companies. Around 300 startups showcased their latest technologies and ideas. The atmosphere was filled with creativity and innovation. Participants had the opportunity to engage in challenges, pitches, and presentations. The International Startup Meetup on April 2nd was a highlight, bringing together founders, investors, and business angels. They exchanged ideas and initiated potential collaborations.

Promoting Women in Industry

Special attention was given to promoting women in industry. The Femworx Career Congress on April 3rd and 4th offered a diverse program with practical workshops, inspiring lectures, and exciting panel discussions on topics such as career, entrepreneurship, finance, health, new work, and leadership.

Participants had the chance to network, learn from the best in the industry, and advance their careers. Workshops on leadership and management, entrepreneurship, new work, finance and investments, as well as health and well-being, provided valuable insights and practical tips.

Positive Feedback and International Significance

The feedback from visitors to Hannover Messe 2025 was overwhelmingly positive. Approximately 127,000 visitors from 150 countries exchanged ideas with the 4,000 exhibiting companies on how to profitably use AI, automate their factories, or use energy more efficiently. More than 40 percent of the visitors came from abroad, underscoring the international significance of the fair.

Deutsche Messe AG drew a positive conclusion. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG, emphasized: "Hannover Messe 2025 was a powerful commitment to the future viability of industry in Germany and Europe – in close cooperation with its international partners."

Gunther Kegel, CEO of Pepperl + Fuchs SE and Chairman of the Exhibitors' Advisory Board of Hannover Messe, added: "The fair has shown that we have all the technological aces up our sleeves to produce competitively, sustainably, and innovatively. The budding confidence we experienced here must now be sustained."
